Parque Natural Municipal da Catacumba
About the protected area

The Parque da Catacumba lies in an area that was reforested in the 1970s. Covering almost 27 hectares, the park has a great diversity of trees, plants and flowers. In the lower part, several sculptures can be admired in the open air. Paved paths and small stone-paved squares make it perfect for walks and picnics. In the upper part, denser forest takes over.
