Access to the PE Ilha do Cardoso is made by hired boats from Cananeia and Ilha Comprida, mainly. This route is offered at Praia do Itacuruça/Pereirinha, in the northern part of the Ilha do Cardoso State Park. It is a monitored nautical trail where visitors can choose to take a route by kayak or SUP for about 1 km.
