Trecho 5 - Belmonte x Malhada das Pedras

Section 5 of the long-distance trail Caminhos da Ibiapaba connects the locality of Belmonte to the village of Malhada das Pedras, consolidating another stage of immersion in the historical routes and rural communities of Piauí. The route predominantly develops in the municipality of Piracuruca, advancing through the ecological and cultural transition areas that characterize the surroundings of the trail. This section passes through the Environmental Protection Area of Serra da Ibiapaba.
