The trail that starts at the Ecological Park of the Dam has historical aspects related to the construction of Brasília. The area of 38 hectares housed Vila Paranoá, established in the 1950s, before the inauguration of Brazil's new capital, by workers coming from other parts of the country for the construction of the Paranoá Dam. Along the trail, it is possible to see remnants of this settlement.
