Deer Island is located in the Atlantic Ocean and is very close to the mainland. The trail offers environmental interpretation activities, such as exploring the fauna and flora, rocky outcrops, and features two viewpoints overlooking the ocean and the mainland. It is advisable for visitors to bring water. Swimming to the island is not possible; take a boat from Piratininga beach.
